Advancing religion by providing a historic, consecrated, inter denominational church for use by the community at large and a range of religious and non-religious groups. As a consecrated church religious groups are able to practice religious ceremonies. Benefiting the community by protecting and maintaining the Bannockburn Community Centre (comprising the historic Coronation Hall, historic church and grounds) to allow public and private use with activities such as cultural group gatherings, dance groups, table tennis group, public meetings, memorial services, weddings and other private functions, performing arts shows and visual art exhibitions. Benefiting the community by working closely with Emergency Management Otago by providing the Bannockburn Community Centre and grounds as the local Community Emergency Hub with emergency AED, Communications, secondary power source and shelter available
