ANZASR is a central entity for collaboration to maintain and progress Aotearoa New Zealand's standing as world leaders in Surfing Resource Management and Surf Sciences. This research develops useful and digestible information regarding surf breaks for the general public, including quantitative surf break health and quality indicators. Additionally, the research data and learnings can be shared to international audiences to aid global efforts to manage surfing resources.
