Anna And John Caselberg Charitable Trust

The Caselberg Trust provides residencies for visual and performing artists, writers, poets, musicians and composers. Specifically the Trust aims to encourage and support people who are making, or have the potential to make, a significant contribution to the arts, either at a national or international level; support and encourage innovative and exciting collaborations between creative media; provide artists with opportunities to introduce new ideas and motifs into their work; and foster the building of dynamic relationships between artists and communities. The Trust also aims to: strengthen community involvement in and support for the arts; preserve and foster the cultural heritage created by Anna and John Caselberg and other artists at Broad Bay, Dunedin, and promote this heritage to the wider community; and to undertake or promote educational activities associated with the arts particularly in Otago and Southland.
