Anglican Church of Raukokore Restoration and Preservation Trust

The Raukokore Church stands on the Coastland foreshore between Te Kaha and Waihau Bay. The church building is in disrepair. We are wanting to raise funds to allow work to commence to restore the church. Since 2019 the trust has: Reroofed the church; recladd the entire church with new weather boards; restored the 9 stain glass windows; repainted the church 3 times; installed 40 fire sprinkler heads inside and outside the church coupled to a 110 mm gravity feed delivery pipe connected to a 30,000 litre tank up Tawaroa Station Road; installed Gabion Rock Baskets to protect Urupa from Storm Ocean Surges; replaced all the concrete around the church; installed 6 IR heaters and 15 LED spot lights inside the church; installed a 10KVA generator; Reinstated gardens surrounding church Jobs to do include: repair and paint picket fence; build and complete generator shed; wire generator to switch board
