Alexandra District Parents Centre Incorporated

We, at Alexandra Parents Centre, are a team of volunteers who provide a support network to the parents and whānau in our community. We aim to create a sense of manakitanga in our inclusive and nurturing environment to encourage families to connect with each other and build relationships. One of our main objectives is to provide our community with enjoyment by hosting events such as weekly music sessions and our annual events that take place including The Great Duck Race, Train Ride, Outdoor Movie screening and our Easter Egg Hunt. We believe this enables families to be involved in fun family experiences all while demonstrating affordability. Our Parent Centre is a not for profit organisation which encourages our volunteers to partake in fundraising activities such as barbeques and raffles. We also rely on our wider communities commitment and endeavour to support them in return.
