Sidney Ashton

Director who retired on 28 March 2012.

Sid Ashton is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Sid was a senior and founding partner of the Christchurch accountancy practice, Ashton Wheelans and Hegan, and held executive roles as Secretary and Chief Executive of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu. He is currently Chairman of the Charities Commission and is a member of the Nominating Committee for the Guardians of NZ Superannuation. Sid joined the Ryman Board in 1994 and is Chairman of the Audit and Financial Risk Committee.
