William and Gwenda Sybil Dick Charitable Trust (1990)

The Trust Act 2019 allows trusts to freely capitalise income as instructed by the Deed which came into effect on 30 January 2021, overriding the previous 21 year limitation by the Perpetuities Act 1964. As per clause 5c of the Deed, 25% of net income shall be capitalised with the remaining net income to be paid as follows: 1/3 to pay the Order of St John Invercargill, 1/3 to the Order of St John Timaru, 1/6 to the Plunket Society Invercargill and 1/6 to the Plunket Society Timaru.
