- Promote music within the Greater Auckland community and to provide and outlet for the talents of its citizens and to entertain the community locally and further afield; - Advance and promote the education of the Greater Auckland community by providing opportunities for members of the community to learn, practice and perform music; - Operate performing musical groups or ensembles, which have a rehearsal location in West Auckland - Promote the advancement of music within the Greater Auckland community through the performance of public concerts; - Encourage members of the Greater Auckland community to acquire knowledge and skills in music and to become musically aware and appreciative;
