Wellington Combined Society of Bellringers

a) To advance religion by: ringing bells at churches in the Wellington region before Divine Service to call the public to worship and remind the public of service times. ringing bells to remind the public that hear the bells of the place of religion in their lives, bells being traditionally associated with places of worship. ringing bells to call the attention of the public to special religious occasions including but not limited to weddings and funerals. ringing bells on such other occasions as may be appropriate. enhancing the religious experience of the Church congregations. b) To advance education by: demonstrating the art of change ringing to the public. teaching interested persons the art of change ringing. providing learning opportunities for ringers to advance in the art of change ringing. c) To encourage the provision of rings of bells in the Wellington region and beyond. d) To ring bells in the Wellington region and beyond.
