At the Waitara and Districts Community Childare Centre we believe that it takes a community to care and educate our tamariki. We view all tamariki as individuals and natural explorers. We recognise the uniqueness of them all and support this through our child-initiated, interest based mixed aged curriculum. With a focus on Tuakana Teina, inquiry theory, Akomanga, Nga Tipuranga and individual care routines. Our center's greatest asset is our teaching team, who reflect our philosophy and proven current educational theory. We ensure our team is supported, developed and respected.
