Waitakere City Community Rescue Trust

The purpose of the Trust is to provide funding and support to the Waitakere City Civil Defence Initail Responce Unit. (Here on known as the “IRU”) to gain extra training/personal development and resources in specisalist fields and capital investment that are beyond the normal support and expenditure of the teams principle owner. The Trust may also agree to fund normal training/personal development, and rescources for additional team members should the IRU wish to expand beyond a core memebership of eighteen memebers funded by the team owner. This purpose will greatly enhance the capability and professionalism of the IRU in operation of both declared and non-declared emergencies that happen in the local and national community.
