“Poppy Day” Funds are to assist all returned, service and ex-service people, their spouses, partners, widows, widowers and dependents who are in need, whether members of a RSA or not. "Poppy Funds" are also available to assist any public charity or other charitable organisation dispensing charity or relieving or caring for returned, service and ex-service people, their spouse, partners, widows, widowers and dependents, whether members of a Returned and Services Association or not. "Welfare Funds" are for any other such charitable purposes as defined in section 5(1) of the Charities Act 2005.
