To educate and promote understanding about the roles and purposes of welfare guardians who assist when people have lost the mental capacity to manage themselves. To educate, train, mentor and provide educational resources to volunteers to be appointed as welfare guardians for persons in need. To assist families or community members with the role of welfare guradians and the appointment process.
