Waikato Equitherapy Incorporated

The group was established and is maintained exclusively for charitable purposes with the following objectives in mind: To provide therapeutic, rehabilitative, sporting and recreational horse riding opportunities to children and adults with special needs in Hamilton and the Waikato region, who would benefit physically, educationally, psychologically and socially from such participation. To meet these objectives the Group also: a) Provides a high standard of instruction in riding, and where appropriate, horse management, that meets the individual needs of the client. b) Provides training opportunities for volunteers and those on work experience. c) Provides a professional, safe, supportive and user-friendly service to both clients and caregivers. d) Provides a Centre where a high standard of horse care is both taught and maintained.
