4.1 The Society is established and maintained exclusively for charitable purposes (including any purposes ancillary to those charitable purposes), namely: a) To protect our outstanding natural landscapes and indigenous biodiversity from the threat of key wilding tree species in the Upper Clutha region. b) benefitting the community by controlling, preventing and promoting the control of key wilding tree species c) advancing education by promoting public awareness and knowledge of the key wilding
