To facilitate the development of improved health, education and social services to meet the needs of the community in the impoverished Sankhuwasabha District of Eastern Nepal; to provide assistance to sick or poor persons originating from the Sankhuwasabha District; to create and foster community links between New Zealand and Nepal; to educate the public of New Zealand about the issues facing rural communities in developing countries, particularly Nepal.
