Mission: Our Mission “To ensure modern athletics facilities and programmes for our region.” The Trust’s mission is to establish and provide the facilities and equipment for a modern composite surfaced athletics track and associated facilities, and making them available to a greater cross-section of the community. It will provide for use in school competitions, specialist training for other sporting codes, and be a valuable resource for disabled athletes to reach their full potential. The Trust will provide an administration structure for the track, ensuring its promotion, maintenance and availability for compatible recreational and sporting activities. The structure will provide clear delegation of responsibilities, reporting monthly to the Trust chair, or Trust executive office. It is also the Trust’s mission to attract more young people into the sport of athletics by providing specialist training and coaching to give them every opportunity to compete nationally and internationally.
