About
1) To promote and develop the Tongariro National Trout Centre as a centre of history, information, resources and learning in respect of trout, trout fishery, freshwater ecology and native flora and fauna; 2) To foster, promote and publicise the education and understanding of New Zealanders and visitors to New Zealand in matters relating to trout, trout fishing and native fresh water fish in New Zealand; 3) To undertake, arrange and facilitate research, study, education and the advancement of learning in and understanding of trout and other fresh water fish in New Zealand; 4) To collect, collate, publish and distribute (by way of sale or otherwise) to the public within New Zealand information, publications and programmes incidental to achieving or promoting any objects of the Society; 5) To facilitate sponsorship and raise funds generally that may be used to assist the site in the management and development of the Tongariro National Trout Centre;
