The Wellington Multiple Sclerosis Society Incorporated

Wellington Multiple Sclerosis (WMS) works to provide meaningful and timely serves to people with Multiple Sclerosis (PwMS) in the Wellington Region to help them better connect with the community and their environment, and to access the services available to them. WMS does this by providing a Field Worker (F/W) service throughout the region. The T/W's work closely with PwMS in order to provide advocacy services no their behalf and to ensure they are referred to the appropriate medial and social services. F/W's also undertake needs assessments and co-ordinate follow-up, education, and home visits. These services are support by regular support group meetings in the community, Facebook, a web site, and a regular newsletter.
