The Wellington Chevra Kadisha Charitable Trust

The Trust is established to carry out charitable purposes in the Wellington region of New Zealand through the advancement of the Orthodox Jewish Religion as approved by the Chief Rabbi of The United Hebrew Congregations of the British Commonwealth, including the granting of funds for the benefit of: (a) the Wellington Jewish Community Centre; (b) the Wellington Hebrew Congregation; (c) any Jewish day school or pre school providing secular and orthodox Jewish religious education; (d) any Jewish orphanage or institution in the nature thereof; (e) any Jewish institution for the care of the aged and infirm; (f) any Jewish organisation providing care and support for the aged and infirm whether or not resident in a Jewish institution; (g) any Jewish organisation providing orthodox Jewish religious services, education, culture or youth and recreational activities.
