The Volunteer Ophthalmic Services Overseas Trust

To provide volunteer eye care to South Pacific Nations. To participate in international projects aimed at minimising preventable blindness. To enable by funding the visits of optometrists and ophthalmologists to South Pacific nations to provide eye-care to local people unable to obtain access to such service because of poverty or isolation. To participate and promote programmes of education on issues of eye care and to co-ordinate the supply of spectacles and other eye appliances to those in need.
