To promote and advocate for effective programmes for the protection, management and planting of trees in the Auckland region so as to improve the quality of life and landscape. To promote and support the RMA, other legislation, regulations, ordinances, programmes, and education, to protect trees and promote planting of trees. To collect, prepare, disseminate information, knowledge, understanding and appreciation of trees and their care. To maintain a focal point of information about trees.
