The Timaru Festival of Roses Trust

To foster and promote a knowledge of an awareness of roses specifically and other plants and shrubs generally To organise and promote public display of roses, rose gardens and associated facilities which grow and house the roses To promote education about the planting, growing, maintenance and preservation of a wide range of roses. To encourage the planting, promotion and preservation of roses specifically in South Canterbury but generally in New Zealand To promote and organise an annual rose festival in Timaru District to provide rose growers with the ability to promote and enhance their work and for the community and public generally to enjoy and be educated about a wide range of issues ancillary to the planting, tending and nurturing of roses.
