The Society Of Mary General New Zealand Trust

Principal Activities: The principal activity of the Trust is to use and apply the income and/or the capital of the Trust Fund for such of the purposes of the Society of Mary that are charitable purposes within New Zealand in such manner as the Trustees may determine. The Society of Mary assists the Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church in the areas of Formation, Education and Young People (including Spirituality, Tertiary and Theological Formation, Youth Ministries and Marist Schools); Parishes and Pastoral Care, especially of Maori; and Working with Non-Christians (by way of on-site work support; training in wellness and healthy living; supervision and mentoring).
