The Showgrounds Community Sports Centre Trust

The purpose of the trust is exclusively charitable. The trustees hold the trust fund on trust to pay or apply so much of the capital and income of the trust fund as the trustees think fit exclusively for or towards any one or more of the following exclusively charitable purposes, which are declared to be the purpose of the trust.1. the provision of public amenities and recreational facilities to be made available, particularly in the Upper Clutha District, to the public. 2. the promotion of amateur sport through the pursuit of physical fitness in the district, and the promotion and coordination of physical active and healthy lifestyle programs and activities within the district. 3. the provision of guidance and support to schools, and educational institutions by assisting in the coordination of ,and upskilling of teachers,trainers and coaches in the delivery of, sport and recreational programs and activities in the district and the provision of all forms of education in physical fitnes
