The Seaboard Trust

The Trust shall make grants or loans to members of the NZ Jewish Community who wish to be educated and trained to acquire skills in industry, the arts or music, or any other skill which the Trustees in their discretion consider valuable with a view to: a. educate them to acquire a valuable skill to enable them to gain employment or to improve their employment prospects b. encouraging them to be identified as Jews, to have contact and friendship with other Jews (and specifically to avoid creating any anti-semitic feeling towards the Trust or the beneficiaries of the Trust) and to keep the skills of Jewish forebearers.
