To bring a wide range of children’s literature to the attention of people of all ages, especially the young reader, such as by means of published reviews, social media, speaking to groups, children’s book clubs in schools and the like; To encourage younger readers to engage with New Zealand children’s literature and to improve children’s literacy. To celebrate and make known the excellence and diversity of children’s books in Aotearoa and abroad.
