The Rock Church

The aims and objectives of The Rock according to its constitution are: (1) To know God, love others, walk together (2) The surrendering of our lives to our purpose and allowing Jesus to build His kingdom in our hearts and minds. (3) Serve each other as members of the Rock family through the process of discipleship-making. (4) Develop and nurture a family of Christlike followers whose main goal is to seek, know and serve God through His Son, Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. (5) Serve the greater Wellington community, as well as other parts of New Zealand and the world - especially giving to those in need of care, support or practical help. (6) Cooperate with other churches in Wellington, New Zealand and the world in matters consistent with our beliefs, aims and objectives. (7) Publish, buy, sell and disseminate Christian literature and music, (8) Any and other endeavors supporting its thrust of Knowing God, Loving Others and Walking Together.
