The Puhinui Trust

“To provide a facility for Auckland that (i) enables the development and growth of equestrian sports in New Zealand, (ii) provides and supports educational training and development for equestrian sport and recreation activities, (iii) conserves and enhances the natural and cultural heritage values of the Puhinui reserve, (iv) provides and promotes a range of recreational opportunities and services that reflect the needs of the community for enjoyment and education, (v) provides guidance and support to schools and educational institutions by assisting in the co-ordination and upskilling of teachers, trainers and coaches in the delivery of sport and recreation programmes in Auckland, and (vi) encourages broader public use of the park.
