Entity's Purpose or Mission The objects of the Division shall be to further the aims and objects of the Society throughout New Zealand and particularly within the area covered by the Division's jurisdiction in accordance with the Rules. The objects of the Society include: a) To provide authoritative education, information and support services that are accessible for people living with or affected by Parkinsonism conditions in the Wanganui and surrounding region. b) To ensure the wider dissemination of exiting knowledge about Parkinsonism and/or related or allied disorders both to the lay public and to the medical profession by the sponsoring of suitable publications, lectures, seminars, or other means which may from time to time seem appropriate. c) To promote and extend the means and facilities for the treatment of and investigation into Parkinsonism and related or allied disorders. d) To promote the establishment and support of support groups for Parkinsonians, their families and
