To promote the study and practice of Hinduism as per Sri Lankan traditions & culture. (b) To construct and operate a traditional Sri Lankan Hindu Temple in Auckland and conduct daily poojas and all traditional and cultural festivals. (c) To promote the educational, religious, spiritual, and moral of members and their children. (d) To promote active participation in charitable and welfare work in Auckland in a manner and spirit acceptable to our membership. (e) To organize educational classes, study groups, workshops, seminars and other related activities for the study of Hinduism and in particular the Hindu traditions. (f) To establish an educational foundation for the teaching of Hindu philosophy, culture, languages and other related subjects not taught in a normal school curriculum. (g) To collect, compile, print, publish and distribute journals, newsletters, periodicals or books that the Society may require.
