The New Zealand Institute for Cancer Research Trust

To establish, support and maintain the NZICRT for scientific and medical research into the causes, nature treatment and prevention of cancer and related diseases and conditions in humans and other organisms To provide financial and administrative support to the NZICRT and to provide facilities, salaries, scholarships, equipment and necessary materials and services required for the work of appropriately qualified scientific, medical and technical staff engaged in cancer research and related work at the NZICRT. To encourage and support collaborative research between staff at the NZICRT and appropriately qualified cancer investigators, scientists and medical specialists in New Zealand and other countries and in particular in the province of Otago with the Hugh Adam Department of cancer Research of the University of Otago or its successors.
