The New Zealand Association Of Mathematics Teachers Incorporated

To foster mathematics education in New Zealand. To speak and act on matters related to mathematics education and the teaching of mathematics. To consult with and encourage communication between regional associations, other mathematics groups and individuals both within New Zealand and internationally. To foster the formation and continuance of regional associations and other mathematical groups as need is identified. To promote and organise conferences on mathematics education and the teaching of mathematics. To pursue such other activities as might support the aforementioned objectives of The Association.
