The Nelson Railway Society Incorporated

The purposes of the Society are to: a. Construct and operate a Nelson working railway and museum; b. Collect and restore items of unique value as related to railway travel; c. Promote and foster interest in all things pertaining to railways and rail travel; d. Do anything necessary or helpful to the above purposes The Society operates a railcar or a full sized historical train every fine weekend day, and each fine day during school holidays, providing rides for the enjoyment of visitors to Founders Historical Park, Nelson.
