To teach, foster and conserve the culture and ethnic values of Manihikians as adopted by the Society. To involve people who are interested in Manihikian Culture in the Activities of the Society, providing it is to the mutual benefits of both parties. To provide and to promote social and recreational activities for members of the society whether in public or private. Generally to conserve, promote and advance the welfare of the Manihiki people in New Zealand.
