The Kind Foundation's core purpose is to make a positive difference through creating opportunity, enabling social connection, improving health and championing learning. We believe that social sustainability is a solution to inequity, and that our investment (of effort and resources) makes a positive difference to the lives of many people, families and communities, and therefore enhances the world in which we live. This is achieved in a range of ways with particular emphasis on developing character through the search for deeper understanding of humanitarian values and their application to daily life; the recognition of the sanctity of each individual and the encouragement of his or her entire development in body, mind and spirit; and the encouragement of a community spirit in which people care of and support each other.
