Under the trust deed dated 26 May 2022 the charitable purpose of the trust is such charitable purposes as the trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit, provided that such charitable purposes must fall within the definition of ‘charitable purposes’ as defined in the Charities Act 2005 and Income Tax Act 2007. Initially, the trustees intend to focus on improving the wellbeing of people and the environment they live in, both in New Zealand and around the world.
