The objects of the Foundation are to apply so much of the income and capital of the Foundation annually as the Trustees shall think fit towards the advancement and support in New Zealand of education, medical knowledge and care, the Christian religion and the relief of poverty through donations or grants to recognised and credible institutions, and the provision of individual or group scholarships, research grants and the like, and assistance directly to individuals or families in distressed circumstances, subject to such conditions and accountabilities as the Trustees may require.
