The Events Network Trust

The Events Network Trust (TENT), was established in 2015 following conversations with network of social and charitable organisations in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Organisations acknowledged the need for local support to facilitate capability and capacity building within the sector and to become more connected to each other and the community. Our vision is "a thriving social and community sector improving Eastern Bay of Plenty communities". TENT’s purpose is to strengthen community organisations to build and empower the social and community sector. TENT’s strategic themes are: Engage the Sector, Educate the Sector, Encourage the Sector, Empower the Sector. We meet our purpose by providing support services and guidance that builds and maintains strong, vibrant and sustainable community organisations in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, and supporting volunteering activities to encourage community awareness, participation and support for generations to come.
