Mission: The purpose of The DOLLY foundation is to help raise awareness of Dementia in the community and nationally. Through raising awareness of Dementia, our aim will be to remove any stigma associated with Dementia and to ensure that New Zealand as a whole is a Dementia Friendly Country. The DOLLY Foundation aims to bridge the gap between Te Whatu Ora, Te Aka Whai Ora, Government Health Departments, and the consumers of Dementia services. The DOLLY Foundation aims to reach out to, and to advocate for ALL the ethnic communities whose culture it is to care for their elderly loved ones in their homes. The DOLLY Foundation will use it's best efforts and it's exposure as a registered charity to ensure that these ethnic communities are provided with the adequate level of support to enable their cultural beliefs of caring for their loved ones in their homes. The DOLLY Foundation aims to support research through fundraising.
