The Cowan and Mallett Endowment Fund

The late Mrs Mary Ann Cowan died on 22 November 1943 leaving a will establishing a perpetual charitable trust. From net investment earnings of the trust, grants are made in the name of the Cowan and Mallett Endowment Fund for the benefit of Canterbury state secondary school girls whose family circumstances are such that school uniform and education fees cannot be met by the families.
