To proactively provide personal and community resources and education for individuals and groups whose lives may be affected by mental health, mental ill health, addiction, or disability to enable then to improve their well-being. This includes proactively promoting wellbeing and resilience through education and resources to the general public. The objects of the Trust are to operate a Centre which: 1. Provides education and information on mental health, mental ill-health, addiction, disabilities, wellbeing and resilience; 2. Provides a Community Mental Health Centre for individuals and organisations in Canterbury, including a well-equipped shared meeting facility; 3. Enables common activity and liaison between organisations in Canterbury which are involved with consumers of mental health services; 4. Provides a range of support services to mental health, addiction, disability and wellbeing organisations.
