The Buckland Memorial Literary Fund

Freda Mary Buckland died on 22 Jun 1966 leaving the residue of her Estate to be held in perpetuity for a fund named "The Buckland Memorial Literary Fund". The object of the fund is to award a prize, from the income, to a New Zealand author for the advancement, improvement and betterment of New Zealand literature and to help them improve their literary efforts and work.
