Mission
Te Wherowhero Lagoon Trust is carrying out recommendations to the Te Wherowhero Lagoon Ecosystem Restoration Plan, 2008, to restore and protect Te Wherowhero Lagoon as a self-sustaining ecosystem. To date this has involved restoration by establishing indigenous seedlings around the margin of the lagoon and creating habitat for indigenous fauna and opportunities for indigenous flora.
