Te Ruunanga o Ngaati Mahuta ki te Hauaauru Trust

The purpose of the Trust is to support and maintain the preservation of Ngaati Mahuta ki te Hauaauru tribal lands, coastlines and its descendants, including the aspirations of our three marae, Aaruka, Maketuu and Te Kooraha. With over 5000 tribal members, this Trust is committed to growing the capacity of whaanau while working with agencies to create pathways and opportunities for our people. The main focus is on how we can future-proof the needs of our people, and we aim to source partnerships and avenues that can enhance, support and inspire all tribal members to develop opportunities, create healthy alternatives, strengthen education and aspire to achieve great things in their lives.
