Te Riu o Waikato Limited Constitution: 2.4 Restriction on Capacity - Activities The activities of the Company must be carried out exclusively for charitable purposes within New Zealand, including: (a) the provision of support and assistance to the Marae Cluster in respect of education, health care, aged care and relief of those suffering from mental or physical sickness or disability; (b) the development of community facilities for the benefit of the Marae Cluster; and (c) any other charitable purpose as determined by the Board. Te Riu o Waikato Limited Strategic Plan 2016: The purpose of Te Riu O Waikato Marae Cluster is to build economic prosperity with the view to improving social outcomes for Waikato-Tainui whanau, Marae and Hapuu.
