The objects and purposes of the Trust to the extent that they are Charitable Purposes are as follows: To deliver quality health, mental health and social services to Maori, the community of Tauranga Moana and the wider Bay of Plenty; To recognise the disparity of health status among Maori compared to non-Maori and implement positive strategies to directly improve the overall health status and outcome of its people; To deliver an integrated model of care that enables a seamless provision of services to Maori , their whanau and wider communities with a long-term goal of Whanau Ora - confident, capable, healthy whanau; To ensure the organisation is committed to an excellent standard of quality and implements evidenced-based best practice approaches that are professionally delivered to Maori whanau and their communities; To develop long-term strategies that will contribute to the autonomous growth and sustainability of the organisation; supporting whanau outcomes towards sustainability.
