Te Papapa Early Childhood Education Trust

The object of the trust is to provide early learning opportunities for children and their families who would not otherwise be able to access quality early childhood education and to ensure that children in and around Te Papapa have the best possible start on their learning journey. This includes: Establish and maintain an Early Childhood Education Centre(s) (ECEC) for the education of pre-school children in and around Te Papapa, initially at Te Papapa School. Encourage and enhance the multi-cultural nature of the school's local community, which will be reflected in the resource and curriculum of the ECEC. Special consideration will be given to te reo me ngā Tikanga Māori as Mana Whenua, to the Tongan and Samoan communities which currently make up the majority of the student ethnicities of the local community, and to the cultures and languages of the students attending the ECEC at any particular time); Build and maintain two-way partnerships with Support and educate the parent
