TE ORA HOU TE TAIRAWHITI TRUST

The Trust was formed by a group of people who wish to support positive development opportunities for primarily Maori young people, their whanau and communities. The objects for which the trust are established are: A) To promote educational opportunities for young people and their families primarily in the Tairawhiti region including workshops, public education campaigns, training programmes and community research projects. B) To promote the relief of all forms of poverty primarily in the Tairawhiti region through projects and initiatives that help residents of Tairawhiti identify and constructively address the causes of poverty; C) To promote the life of Jesus as a model for others to follow; D) Any other charitable purpose of the Trust.
