About
The purpose of the Trust is to receive, use and administer the Trust’s Funds exclusively for Charitable Purposes. The Trust was set up to manage and invest the assets of Nga Tangata Tiaki o Whanganui arising from the Treaty of Waitangi settlement with the Whanganui Iwi. The qualifying entities that distributions may be made to include maraes, hapu and tupuna rohe groups affiliated with Whanganui Iwi, related trusts and Te Awa Tupua.
